What kinds of jobs do you offer?

We provide temporary and permanent staffing for retail, hospitality, warehouse, delivery and office based jobs.

What is the difference between temporary and permanent roles?

Temporary roles are short-term contracts, while permanent roles are long-term contracts. The difference between temporary and permanent roles is that you can change the length of your contract with a temporary position but with a permanent role, you will be given a specific length of contract by your employer.

How can I find out what stage of the hiring process?

You can request our staffing for an update on your application. You can do this by using the live chat option,by contacting directly using you whatsapp, use our office contact number or by simply emailed us at onboarding@workweeks.co.uk

Do I need to have experience?

You need a minimum of 6 months of experience. However, if you are inexperienced you can opt in to our training session. Once you have had your formal training then we will be ready to place you as soon as possible.

Can I chat to the hirer before my shift?

If you apply to a shift, you will not be able to chat with the hirer before he or she accepts your application. However if you have any question you can always reach out to our customer service which is available 24×7

Where can I find temp and perm roles?

If you have registered to work for us as temp, you will be added to our scheduling app, where you will receive notification everytime a shift is added according to the role you have registered for. Where as for perm roels you can check our job board on the website and apply.

What to do if employers ask to join permanently?

We have a contractual agreement with you and the employer. Before, employer could hire you they need to contact us and you will also need to notify us if they do.

What type of document do I need to verify?

We will usually ask for a copy of your passport, valid proof of address, sharecode or any other right to work documents

Do I need to come physically for ID Check?

No you are not required to come. We have partnered with Yoti which is an approved ID check company, once you register we will send information on how to set up.

How long does it takes to verify my document?

It usually takes few minutes however if all documents are not received it might take few days.

I dont have a passport what should I do?

If you do not have a passport in hand or its pending to receive, you can send a copy of your birth certifcate.

What is valid proof of address?

Recent utility bill
UK full driving licene
Financial statement (e.g. bank, building society, credit card or credit union statement)

Shifts & Cancellations

How can I apply for temp shfits?

You can use our scheduling app to apply for available shifts. Please make sure your app notification is on and active.

Why my shifts are not accpeted?

If you are not accepted, means someone else got the shift.

What if I cannot attend a shift?

If you have accepted a shift and cannot attend you need to contact us immediately.

Can I apply for multiple shifts at the same time?

Yes you can apply to as many shifts as you want.

How does the rating system works?

After each shift the client usually are asked submit a rating of your work. We base this to give you shift. Therefore it is very important that you bring your A game at work.

How do I submit my timesheet?

Its mandatory that you submit your timesheet at the end of every shift. You will usually have a paper sign in and sign out to complete at the venue. However, you would still need to submit your timesheet via our site.

How do I withdraw and application?

You can simply use our scheduling app to withdraw the shift, or you can contact our team and request them to remove you from the application.

What should I do if I am running late?

Firstly you should not be late. However if you are running late for a reason beyond your control. You can contact our representative so that they can notify this to the client.

Will I be paid If I am asked to leave early?

We have a minimum 6 hours shift requirement. However, if a client asked you to leave early for valid reasons, you will only be paid for the hours you have worked.

Payments

How does pay work?

Our staff are paid via PAYE , a system that means all your tax is taken off your pay at the source.

How will I get paid?

You will be paid directly into a bank account of your choice. If you want to update at any time, please contact us

What should I do if I am underpaid?

If you think you have been underpaid, simply contact us via chat, WhatsApp or email at payments@workweeks.co.uk

Where do I find my Payslip?

Your payslip will be emailed to you before you get paid. It is usally done a day before or same day of the payment being made.

When will I get paid?

You are paid 2 weeks after the working week. Our working week is from Saturday to Friday and payments are completed either on Friday before 11:59PM or Monday before 06:00PM. For more information regarding payment please email at payments@workweeks.co.uk

Where is my payment?

If you haven’t been paid for the shift you have completed please contact us immediately so that we can look into it.

Leaving Workweeks

How can I leave the agency?

If you are not interested to work for us anymore. Simply email us at shifts@workweeks.co.uk and one of our team member will be able to assist you.

Where can I find my P45?

You can simply email us at payments@workweeks.co.uk and our team will take care of it.
